《窦蛾冤》，元代著名剧作家关汉卿代表作。该剧描写寡妇窦娥受流氓张驴儿迫害，被诬控杀人，官府判其死刑，临刑时窦指天为誓：死后必血溅白练、六月降雪、大旱三年，以白己冤。后窦父天章为官，予以昭雪。 《春草闯堂》剧情为吏部尚书的儿子吴独，调戏相国之女李半月，又打死民女。薛玫庭路见不平，解危惩凶，将吴独打死。吴独之母恃丈夫之势，强迫知府将薛玫庭乱棍打死。李半月贴身丫环春草，闯入公堂，辩理斗智，搭救薜玫庭。安庆地区黄梅戏剧团先后演出两剧，受到好评。此为《窦娥冤》、《春草闯堂》说明书。

　　　Both "The Grievance of Dou'e "and "Chuncao Intruding on the Court" are traditional Huangmei operas. "The Grievance of Dou'e", the masterpiece by Guan Hanqing, a well known dramatist in the 'fi Jan Dynasty,, tells the tragic story ofDou'e, a widow, who was framed by a rogue and sentenced to death. At the execution ground, she makes a curse that after her death, it will soon snow, even though it is summer, and that there will be three-year drought to show the world that she had been wronged; her curse came true. Later, the father of Dou'e secured an official position at court and with his effort, her honour was restored.
　　 "Chuncao Intruding on the Court" tells how a clever servant girl Chuncao intruded on the court to save Xue Meiting, an upright man who had saved Chuncao's master but was falsely accused. The two operas were performed by the Huangmei Opera Troop of Anqing and were well received.
